I have been playing since before any of the hotfixes.Įven though I have earned several item chips and classes and mercs, the power levels are so high I am considering starting a fresh game with the knowledge I have now and just losing that stuff. So I am soon to lose all of my gear since I can't even extract properly from most missions without getting fairly lucky. I can't even complete a 300 reward mission right now with full carnage pattern battle armor, a jackhammer auto shotgun and smg + tons of meds. The situation I am running in to now is one in which I have lost quite a lot of weapons, armor, and ammo, and most corporations power and tech levels have gotten super high. I am learning and improving even though some deaths seem fairly unavoidable.

The infection though, yeah, the autodoc probably isn't enough to get 100% of people out of the tutorial safely if you get hit hard by the 3 mobs and don't know how to rip clothes and bandage, but the barrel thing is on you mate.I've been playing for a while and completed 13 missions, failed many more. What you describe however sounds like an inability to learn from mistakes, sure you probably didn't expect the smg or whatever to miss and hit the barrels? or maybe you shot them to break the jammer faster? well the barrels have a small explosion radius so i don't really know how that could have gotten you. (iirc i tried leveling some skill too so i took longer than i should before i noticed the half a docen breakable walls near the firing range etc) I died in the tutorial but that was because i tried exploring behind the breakable walls (there is nothing btw lol) and in the meantime my hunger went to 0 so i had to eat the infected meat, i didn't expect infection to kill me before i got to the elevator, lesson learned, don't eat the infected meat unless you got the item to lower infection.
